The right cut for the right age

A toddler and an older child need very different appointments. The Toddler Cut is made for the youngest guests who may not sit still. Instead of a full shampoo, their hair is lightly misted with water, cut to the length you want and given light styling. Extra time is built in, so nobody feels hurried if your little one needs a break.

The Children's Cut is for kids who can handle a more grown up visit. It includes a personalized consultation, a shampoo and a blow dry finish, so it feels like a real salon appointment.

Both services are performed by select stylists who enjoy working with kids. Appointments are one guest at a time, and the salon is a restored Craftsman house with its own parking lot, which makes arriving with a car seat or stroller easier. For older kids with short, clipper styles, a barber cut may be the better fit.

For a Toddler Cut, hair is lightly misted, cut and lightly styled, with breaks whenever needed. For a Children's Cut, your child gets a shampoo, the cut and a blow dry finish. A favorite toy or snack from home can help younger kids settle, and you can stay close the whole time.

Aftercare and maintenance

Kids' hair grows quickly, and bangs and short styles show it first. Your stylist will suggest when to come back based on the cut. At home, a gentle shampoo and a detangling comb go a long way.
