Two services, depending on how short you go

The Barber Cut covers traditional scissor cuts and clipper cuts with guards from a two up to a five. It is the right choice for short, tidy shapes, textured crops and classic tapers that do not go down to the skin.

The Barber Fade is for styles that go shorter than a two guard, down to a zero or a skin fade, and blend up to the top. Fades are performed by select stylists, so check who offers it when you book.

Either way, you are not in and out of a chair with a quick buzz. Every appointment starts with a consultation about how you part and style your hair, how sharp you like the neckline, and how fast it grows. Then comes a shampoo, the cut and a finished style. If you have a short cut that is more pixie than taper, a women's haircut may suit you better.

What to expect at your appointment

Check in at the front desk or on the iPad and grab a drink. Your stylist starts with a consultation: guard length, where the fade or taper should sit, how much length to keep on top, and how you style it. After a shampoo, the cut is done with scissors, clippers or both, depending on the style. Your stylist finishes with a styled look and a mirror check on the neckline so everything is clean before you leave.

Aftercare and maintenance

Short cuts show growth fast, especially fades, so plan your next visit before you leave. Your stylist will suggest the timing based on how sharp you like it. Wash with a gentle shampoo and use a small amount of product to style. The Signature Elevate line on the retail wall is sodium chloride free and sulfate free, and your stylist can point you to a styling product that suits your cut.

How pricing works

Book the Barber Cut for scissor cuts or clipper cuts using a two guard or longer. If you want anything shorter than a two, including a skin fade blended up to the top, book the Barber Fade instead.

Does every stylist do fades?

No. The Barber Fade is performed by select stylists. When you book online, check which stylists offer the fade, or text the salon and the team will point you to the right person.
