A cut that starts with a conversation

Before scissors come out, your stylist asks how you style your hair on a normal morning and what bothers you about it now. That answer decides where the weight sits, how much layering you need, and whether a bob, a shag or long layers will actually suit your routine.

You book by length because length changes the work. A short cut above the chin is detailed shaping around the neck and ears. Medium hair sits where shape and movement meet. Long hair below the collarbone needs care to keep fullness at the ends.

If your hair is naturally wavy or curly and you wear it that way, this is not your cut. The wavy and curly haircuts are built for texture; this one is for hair you smooth, blow dry or style with heat.

Most of the team cuts women's hair, including Natalie for layered cuts and shags, Rachel for bobs and pixies, Jessica and Madison for long layers, and Mei Leigh for layered cuts, and others on the team.

Book Now
  • Booked by length

Short, medium and long cuts are separate services, so your stylist knows how much hair there is to shape and plans the appointment around it.

  • Consultation every time

Every service at Elevate begins with a consultation. You talk through shape, part, face framing and styling habits before anything is cut, and nothing changes without your say.

  • A proper finish

Medium and long cuts end with a blow dry, and short cuts get a finish, so you see the shape styled the way it is meant to fall and can ask how to recreate it.

  • Undivided attention

Appointments are one guest at a time with no double booking. Your stylist stays with you from shampoo to final check in the mirror, so the cut is never rushed.

What to expect at your appointment

Check in at the front desk or on the iPad and grab a latte or sparkling water. Your stylist starts with a consultation: photos you like, what you want to keep, and how much styling time you are willing to give it. Then comes a shampoo, the cut, and a finish. On medium and long hair that finish is a blow dry, and your stylist will show you where the shape sits and how to style it at home.

Aftercare and maintenance

Shorter shapes lose their line soonest, so bobs and pixies usually come back more often than long layers. Your stylist will plan the timing with you before you leave. At home, use a gentle shampoo and protect your ends from heat. The retail wall carries the Signature Elevate line, which is sodium chloride free and sulfate free, plus Redken and Olaplex.

How pricing works

Price is set by the length you book, short, medium or long, and by which stylist you choose, since prices vary by stylist. Extra thick hair at medium length, or extra long and thick hair, adds a small amount for the added time. See the Service Menu for current pricing.

From a Google review

“UPDATE: I got my second haircut from Hannah in August. It looks even better than the first! I absolutely love it. She was recently promoted and it's obvious she very much deserved to be. She gave me a sassy lil bob that looks good with almost zero styling. Again, would give 10/10 stars if I could. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I got a haircut from Hannah in late January. I kept meaning to post a review, because it turned out *great*! Short 'n' sassy. I had been styling it wavy up until this week, when I was running short on time and couldn't use my diffuser like I typically do. So I just did the world's fastest blow dry, didn't even style it, only had my wide-toothed comb with me. Lemme tell you: It still looked *great*! I was absolutely delighted. When your hair is short like mine, you don't have the option of a quick ponytail or bun if you don't have the time to style it. So discovering the my hair still looks super cute with almost zero effort is like winning the short haircut lottery. (For context, I've had elbow-length hair and shaved my head, and basically every length in between, so I know a good short haircut when I see one.) Also I came into the salon with kind of a mess on my head. My hair was several different choppy lengths (a product of my own foolish doing), so Hannah had a bit of a challenge to contend with. We discussed what I was hoping to do and she and Anna, the salon owner, came up with a plan. Hannah was meticulous and took her time, explaining to me what she was doing as she worked. I wish I could give 10 stars! The actual haircut experience was great, and my hair is fabulous. Go see Hannah, you won't regret it.”

Frequently asked questions

Which length should I book?

Book short if your hair sits above your chin, medium if it falls between your chin and collarbone, and long if it reaches your collarbone or below. Book the length your hair is now, not the length you want to end up with.

My hair is very thick. Do I need to tell you?

Yes. Medium and long cuts have a hair type option when you book online. Choosing extra thick, or extra long and thick, gives your stylist time to shape the weight properly.

I wear my hair wavy most days. Is this the right cut?

Probably not. This cut is designed for hair you blow dry or smooth. If you let natural waves or curls air dry most days, book the Wavy and Loose Curls Haircut or the Curly Haircut, which are cut and styled for texture.

Can I bring photos?

Please do. Photos of cuts you like, and ones you do not, make the consultation faster and clearer. Your stylist will be honest about how a shape will work with your hair.

What if I need to change or cancel my appointment?

Call or text the salon as early as you can. The salon asks for advance notice when you cancel, and late cancellations or no shows may be charged.

Ready for a cut that fits your routine?

Check the Service Menu for current pricing, or if you wear your hair natural, look at the wavy and loose curls haircut or the curly haircut instead.
