Official Rules: The $1,000 Transformation

1. Sponsor
The $1,000 Transformation (the "Promotion") is sponsored by Elevate Salon + Spa, 1208 Carlton Avenue Charlottesville, VA 22902 (the "Sponsor").
2. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of Virginia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, officers and directors of the Sponsor, their immediate family members, and persons living in the same household are not eligible.
Void where prohibited by law.
3. Entry period
Entries open at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on November 1, 2026 and close at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on December 15, 2026 (the "Entry Period"). Entries received outside the Entry Period are void.
4. How to enter
No purchase necessary. A purchase does not improve your chance of winning.
Method 1, online. Complete the entry form at https://www.elevatesalonva.com/pages/transformation-event with your first name, last name, mobile phone number and email address, and check the box agreeing to these Official Rules. This earns one (1) entry.
Method 2, free alternate entry by mail. Hand print your name, address, email address and phone number on a 3" x 5" card and mail it to Elevate Salon + Spa, Attn: The $1,000 Transformation, 1208 Carlton Avenue Charlottesville, VA 22902. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by December 15, 2026 and received by December 19, 2026. One card per envelope.
Method 3, bonus entries for friends who enter. After completing Method 1, the confirmation page shows you a personal link. Each different eligible person who completes Method 1 through that link, with their own name, email address and phone number, earns you one (1) additional entry, up to ten (10) additional entries for the entire Entry Period. A person who had already entered does not count, and each person counts once however many times they enter. The bonus is earned by the friend's own completed entry, never by posting, sharing or tagging on any social platform. Sharing the link is never required. Entries made with false or borrowed identities, by one person on behalf of others, or by automated means are void, and the Sponsor may verify any referral before the drawing.
Method 4, bonus entry for answering our question. After completing Method 1, post a genuine answer to the question on the Sponsor's contest post ("What's the one thing you'd change about your hair?") in the comments. This earns one (1) additional entry, once per person. Following, sharing or tagging is never required and earns nothing.
No purchase, follow, share, repost or tag of any person is required to enter, and none of those actions earns an entry or improves any entrant's chance of winning.
Entrants using Method 2 may request the same maximum number of entries as is available under the other methods combined by so stating on their mailed card, at no cost and with no social media account of any kind.
All methods have an equal chance of winning per entry.
Limit one (1) entry per person through Method 1 or Method 2, plus up to ten (10) bonus entries under Method 3 and one (1) under Method 4, for a maximum of twelve (12) entries per person for the entire Entry Period. Entries beyond the limit are void.
5. Prize
One (1) prize: a $1,000 hair and beauty transformation at the Sponsor's salon, performed by the Sponsor's team. The prize begins with a consultation and includes the transformation services and the take-home hair products, maintenance appointments and aftercare that go with them. What is included is set at the consultation and agreed in writing before the transformation is booked.
This is not a cash prize. The prize has no cash value, is not paid out in cash, and cannot be taken as retail product alone or exchanged for anything outside the written plan. The winner may add services or products at the winner's own cost; any addition and its price are agreed in writing at the consultation, before the transformation is booked.
Approximate retail value of the prize: $1,000.
The prize does not include anything the winner adds, travel to or from the salon, or gratuity. If the Sponsor's stylist determines, at the consultation or at any later appointment, that any part of the prize is unsafe or unsuitable for the winner's hair, the Sponsor replaces it with a service or product of equal or greater value that suits the winner's hair.
The prize may be transferred once, whole, to one named person, recorded with the Sponsor before any appointment is booked. It may not be split, resold, or combined with any other promotional offer, including the runner-up offer described in section 10. The Sponsor may substitute a component of the prize with one of equal or greater value if a listed component becomes unavailable.
The consultation must be booked within 30 days of notification and the transformation completed within 30 days of the consultation, and in any event no later than March 18, 2027, subject to stylist availability.
6. Winner selection and notification
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries on December 18, 2026, in a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor, recorded on video.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
The winner will be notified by phone and email within two (2) days of the drawing, using the contact details on their entry. If the winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days of the first notification attempt, or declines, or is found ineligible, or declines to sign the release described in section 8, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected at random.
The winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, the release described in section 8, and an IRS Form W-9 before the prize is awarded.
7. Taxes
All federal, state and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
8. Publicity and release
Acceptance of the prize is conditioned on the winner signing a separate release permitting the Sponsor to use the winner's name, likeness, city, voice, and before-and-after photographs and video for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. A winner who declines to sign forfeits the prize and an alternate is drawn.
9. Privacy
Information collected is used to administer this Promotion and to contact entrants about it and about the Sponsor's offers by email. It is not sold. Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. The Sponsor may call or text entrants about their entry. Entrants are not signed up for automated marketing text messages. 10. Runner-up certificates
Entrants who do not win, and who are first-time guests of the Sponsor or have had no visit in the prior twelve months, may receive a $100 promotional Beauty Bucks, good only toward an extension install, as listed at the salon and on the certificate. The certificate is applied toward the menu price of the package and the recipient pays the rest. It cannot be applied to any other service or product. Certificates are promotional value only, have no cash value, are not stored value, carry a printed expiration date 30 days from the date the recipient is notified, are limited to one per person, are not combinable with the grand prize, and are redeemed in person at the Sponsor by the named recipient.
11. General conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or acts in violation of these Official Rules, and to cancel, suspend or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failure or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs its integrity.
By entering, entrants release the Sponsor from any liability arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance and use of the prize, to the extent permitted by law.
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia.
12. Winner list
For the name of the winner, mail a request to Elevate Salon + Spa, Attn: The $1,000 Transformation Winner, 1208 Carlton Avenue Charlottesville, VA 22902, to be received by February 16, 2027.
