This means that hair can be immediately washed after treatment, and should be washed within 24 hours.
Keratin Rules
Until the first washing, follow these keratin rules: No pins, hats, sweating, ponytails, etc.
Hair Styling
Lasio keratin options reduce curl by 60-90%. This means hair can be air dried for a curly appearance, or heat styled for a straight finish.
Hair Coloring
Hair color can be done the same day if your color is completed before getting a Lasio treatment. After a Lasio keratin treatment, wait two weeks before coloring.
Longevity
Lasio Keratin lasts up to 4 months when following these guidelines and using sodium chloride free hair care, such as our Elevate Signature Line. Keratin Tropic, the formaldehyde free version, lasts up to 3 months.
Sodium Chloride Free Products
Lasio Keratin requires hair home care products to be sodium chloride free (please note, this is different than sulfate free!) All of our Signature Elevate Products are sodium chloride and sulfate free. Another great option is the Redken Smooth Force Line.
Protect hair from saltwater, sweat, and chlorine

Be sure to rinse hair immediately after exposure to saltwater, sweat and chlorine. Use Use a deep conditioning treatment such as Elevate Indulge as a protective mask – Apply to damp hair before swimming and exercise.
